What has become a rarity with other trousers is standard for a pair of Hiltls: A custom-made fine-toothed nickel-free metal zip that guarantees to remain fully functional even after cleaning, time after time. Every single genuine horn button belonging to their exclusive trouser design is something like state of the art. They both fasten securely and leave enough room for the front tab to slip neatly in between. The attractive welted front and rear pockets are strengthened with decorative braiding, a feature that requires sophisticated manufacturing techniques. But the outstanding quality of their trousers is most evident in the waistband which includes special interfacing and extremely soft inner padding. It is prevented from rolling down by the inclusion of custom-made stabilizing tape and is completed by 8 sturdy belt loops.
Only the best fabrics and the best manufacturing quality make the grade with Hiltl and only the world’s best weavers are called upon to supply them with top fabrics. Seams at the crutch as well as side seams are extremely narrow-stitched. While this naturally demands greater sewing skill, it produces very flat seams that don’t press through during ironing, a particular advantage with extremely fine fabrics.
